ECR PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

October 28 to December 6 2021

Four years Blue Communities Research Programme supports the development, implementation, and ongoing management of initiatives that promote multiple users' sustainable marine resources. Blue Communities, together with stakeholders and local communities, reveal a variety of information, thoughts, and impacts related to the problem of resource utilization and sustainable development within the study area. These impacts and interactions can be a lesson learned for various circles of the wider community.

Youth creativity supported by online platforms and visual culture is becoming an increasingly prominent part of our cultural identity in the 21st century. Images and social media have become essential and powerful tools to convey ideas, opinions, or information at a glance, which can lead to public discussions that are beneficial to scientists and the public. Blue Communities Early Career Research Networks (BC ECRN) initiates a photography competition to call the young generation (BC ECRN members and local youth within the BC study area) to express their discovery of the harmony between humans and nature to broader society.
